Arne Jørgen Fæø was born in Bodø, Norway
in 1974, and has played the piano since he was 9 years old.
At the age of 16, he got in touch with the Parisian
pianist, Christine Parachos, who was to become an
important teacher and great source of inspiration to Arne
Jørgen.
In 1994, Arne Jørgen Fæø commenced studies at the Royal
Danish Academy of Music (RDAM) in Copenhagen. Already as a
second year student, he won a competition and was a
soloist with the RDAM Symphony Orchestra in Tivoli Concert
Hall, Copenhagen.

Throughout his studies, Arne Jørgen Fæø has received
many scholarships, and has participated in numerous master
classes in several countries, with teachers like Poul
Badura-Skoda, Pnina Salzmann, Charles Rosen, Yahli Wagman
and Rudolf Jansen.
After completing his diploma in 1999, Arne Jørgen Fæø
entered the post graduate program for pianists,
specializing in chamber music. This was concluded in 2001
with a debut recital which received great reviews. |

Arne Jørgen Fæø has an extensive career as pianist. He has given
concerts as soloist (including Trondheim and Stavanger, Norway),
chamber player and lied-accompanist in Denmark, Norway, Sweden,
Iceland, Germany, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, France,
Spain and Israel. Arne Jørgen Fæø also plays the organ, and has
since 2005 been organist at Bjergby and Mygdal Churches.
